Samsung Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update has made its way to Korea after being released in Poland. Galaxy S3 update has been much awaited in other countries since the release of the Android software update. Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy S3 made its way to Poland last month via the Kies desktop software or through an over the air (OTA) update.
Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update was rumoured to release in late September or October, but the territories were not mentioned for the update. The Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy S3 included Project Butter which improved battery performance and smoother operation of the Android operated smartphone. The update also provided a tweaked settings menu, new notifications bar and the addition of Google Now.
The South Korean firm has stated that the latest version of Android software would be gradually introduced to other markets. The update released in Korea is allegedly for the 3G model of the Galaxy S3, with a 4G compatible Android 4.1 upgrade still in the development stages.
The Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update for Korean users is not available over the air as the users have to plug their handset into their computer and utilise Samsung’s Kies desktop software. The South Korean firm is expected to release Galaxy S3 mini at a Germany event today.
Galaxy S3 android update has not been confirmed for the UK and US users, but with the release in Korea things might start rolling for other users around the world.
